Cutting Edge waste disposal is a Registered Waste Carrier/Broker, licenced to carry waste under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005.
Waste is also carried under the Environment Protection Act 1990, Duty of Care.

FLUORESCENT TUBES, LAMPS

Fluorescent tubes and gas discharge lamps are classed as hazardous waste under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005: they cannot now be placed in with your general waste. Recycling must be in line with the WEEE Directive (Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment) and RoHS Directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). We can offer a service where all of your lamps and tubes may be recycled in one place. Any sodium and mercury is also recovered. Any mixture of tubes and lamps may be placed into the containers.
